I tried out the famous Arthur Nosh Bar for the first time and it is really worth the hype! Their menu offers a variety of sweet and savory dishes, and for lunch they even offer salads and sandwiches. Their lunch options are offered starting at 11 am. The restaurant is located near the Place Saint-Henri, at 4621 Notre Dame West Street.
Loved the ambiance of the restaurant very family style. The team that works there is super nice and fun! The restaurant is very small but during the summer time there is a terrace outside with a couple of tables were you can also sit (there are umbrellas so you can sit in the shade). Since I was eating alone I didn't have to wait at all but there was a line at around noon. So, I would recommend getting there early to be seated quickly. I decided to get the syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes) and the fruit salad. The pancakes are to die for, so soft and gooey. But it is a pretty heavy dish so if you are not a big eater you can easily share the plate. The fruit plate on the other hand I didn't find it was worth 9$. The quantity was enough but there weren't many fruits that I personally liked. But, if you like the fruit they serve it is a good side dish for the pancakes. Light fruit plate completes the heavy, gooey cottage cheese pancakes.
