The typical spanish tapas restaurant opened his doors internationally with 2 locations: Montreal & Barcelona. By opening in the heart of old montreal at 420 Notre-Dame Ouest, they brought us the authentic cuisine of Barcelona. The chef Carles Aberran offers a variety of home cooked dishes and classic tapas from Barcelona such as patatas bravas and jamon iberico: www.tapas24.ca. They also offer menus for special occasions such as valentine's day and a fix lunch menu at 22$ (http://www.tapas24.ca). They offer multiple services like valet parking from thursday to Saturday starting at 5pm for 15$ and they have a private room you can rent for parties, 5 @ 7.... You can enjoy this restaurant from 5-11pm, also Thursdays and Fridays for lunch from 11:30-2:30 but unfortunately closed on Sunday.

This spot is very trendy with hype music, a nice terrace, contemporary yet modern vibe. But, also very pricy. Although, it is expensive I would honestly recommend for a special occasion because the food is so good and is really representative of the tapas bars in Barcelona. My boyfriend and I decided to go for our 3rd year anniversary and this is what we shared: croqueta de jamon ibérico, las bravas, bikini de "Carles Abellan", gambas al Ajillo and the paella de barcelona. As for drinks, we decided to take the red tapas 24 sangria. But, here is the menu: http://www.tapas24.ca

Menu
Sangria
Patatas bravas, bikini de "Carles Abellan" which had iberian ham, mozzarella and truffle.
The shrimps

Our favorite dishes were the patatas bravas, the shrimps and the paella. Of course, we kept room for dessert. We shared the Buñuelos del “TIO NELO”.

Chocolate fritters
